When is the last time you seen these two together? Maybe this could lead to Damon Dash getting a gig at Roc Nation. What other rappers would you like to see end their beef? Jeezy and Ross? Chris Brown and Drake? Cam’ron and Jay Z? 50 Cent & The Game?
This gives me some hope(very little) for Hov and Beanie Sigel to end their beef and going back to making classic tracks.
Moved to action after hearing about a family in Washington, D.C. lose their home, Nas raised over $27,000 dollars for them today. The legendary rapper heard about the tragic story of Stanley Young, an unemployed construction worker and father of seven, who recently lost his apartment in a fire, rendering his family homeless in the inferno’s wake. After hearing about the story from a Washington news outlet, Nas decided to take action setting up a fund through a CrowdTilt page for donations to help the homeless family.
After making the first donation and asking his millions of followers on Twitter to donate too, the page quickly raised the $20,000 dollars for the family of eight in less than a day. No word on how the money will be distributed yet but this is an incredible win for the Young family, Nas and the human spirit in general.

Kanye West Confirmed To Perform At 2013 MTV Video Music Awards
UPDATE: This month Kanye West will tie with Madonna for most VMA performances ever.
With help from social media, MTV has revealed that its 30th annual MTV Video Music Awards will take place at the newly-opened Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The move to the popular arena will serve as the first time the VMA’s have been taped in a location other than Manhattan, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas.
This year’s awards show, which will take place on August 25th, will also mark the first time the VMA’s have been in New York City since 2009. Over the past three years, the VMA’s have been filmed in various venues in Los Angeles including the Staples Center and Nokia Theatre.
Following a series of grand opening concerts that featured noted Brooklyn emcee Jay Z, Barclays Center has become a go-to location in New York City for all things music-oriented.
Despite a large drop in viewers, last year’s VMA’s welcomed performances from Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and more.

UPDATE: Def Jam Records has confirmed today (August 5) that Kanye West is among performers at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. He is confirmed to be performing Yeezus single "Black Skinhead," which included creative involvement from Daft Punk, Gesaffelstein, and Lupe Fiasco.
2013 will mark West's seventh VMA performance, tying him with Madonna for most overall performances at the flagship award show. West VMA performances date back to a 2004 College Dropout medley.
West last performed "Otis" with Watch The Throne collaborator Jay Z in 2011.

BOW WOW AND TYRA BANKS SHARE INTIMATE KISS ON BET’S ’106 & PARK’
Rapper Bow Wowmay be the luckiest dog on the planet right now. The ’106 & Park’ host had the glorious opportunity to plant a wet one on iconic model Tyra Banks during Wednesday’s night episode (July 31).
The host and judge of ‘America’s Next Top Model’ appeared as a guest on the program to talk about ‘ANTM”s upcoming 20th season, which will feature male models.
After reminiscing about their first kiss back on Tyra’s talk show in 2009, the veteran supermodel asked Bow Weezy if he was ready for an updated version of the lip-locking session.
“You tryna do the remix?” she asked Bow Wow who was more than ready to pucker up. Tyra kicked up her legs on his lap and planted a big smooch on Bow Wow, which left him speechless.
“I had to really walk backstage to really get myself together. I’m rattled right now,” he said after the commercial break.
The Cash Money artist later posted a 15-second video and a photo of the infamous kiss on his Instagram page.
It’s safe to say that kissing Tyra will be the highlight of Bow Wow’s year of hosting ’106 & Park.’
Meanwhile, men all over the world are green with envy.

Beanie Sigel is currently in jail for drug possession and tax evasion. Unfortunate to see Beanie Sigel fall on hard times, he played a part in some of the Roc-A-Fella Records’s classics songs.
Drake Links Up With 2 Chainz, Big Sean, But It's 'All Me'
On his latest Nothing Was The Same single, Drizzy crowns himself the 'light-skinned Keith Sweat.'
Just in case "5 AM in Toronto" doesn't make the album cut, Drake is reiterating his dominance with 2 Chainz and Big Sean on "All Me," the latest official single from Nothing Was The Same.
Following a snippet of comedian Aziz Ansari in character as Randy, Drake launches into the hook, ("Came up, that's all me/stay true, that's all me/no help, that's all me") and lets 2 Chainz get in a verse before going on to confidently crown himself as the "light-skinned Keith Sweat."
Aubrey then proceeds to explain why he's pretty much untouchable at this point. Hooking up with his old babysitter just for sport, dropping a new album that will already be received like a classic ("my latest sh-- is like a greatest hits"), and generally pointing or that it's not your turn, because he isn't done yet. "Should I listen to everybody or myself? Cause myself just told myself 'you the motherf----'man, you don't need no help," he raps. 2 Chainz and Big Sean both add their own not-so-humble brags to the track, with Sean namedropping his girlfriend Naya Rivera, spitting, "My new girl is 'Glee' and sh--, probably make more money than me and sh--." The new single arrives just a few days before Drake is set to kick off his annual OVO Fest in Toronto. The first day of the festival was canceled earlier this week, when headliner Frank Ocean was forced to pull out due to damaged vocal chords. The show will still go on though, on Monday August 5 with Drake and James Blake as the remaining headliners. Drake's third album Nothing Was The Same is due on September 17.
